As April stepped into my life,
I presumed life of colors and flavors,
I gained feathers to fly, so to seek the truth around me,
I left my nest, my kith and kin,
And what do you think I saw around,
I saw a bunch of brighter blooms,
Call them not flowers for they lack fragrance,
I touched the new born greens,
Oh, don't ask me, they were weeds,
I rolled over and over that appeared as heap of grains,
Oho they were the ones what they called new strains,
Deep in colour, they were swollen and big,
Not a worm would touch it,
As they were bloated with nitrogen and urea,
Why the flowers, greens and grains,
Nowadays even love is adulterated,
And relations are manipulated!
