As the child hopped and skipped,
In the streets and lanes all day;
Her mother was in hopeless daze,
Of a life going all astray.
She jumped and played gleefully,
Unaware of the impending doom;
Her mother's dreams had all fled,
For a future that was in full bloom.
A tiny being so deadly still,
Had felled the mighty man so proud;
Made a mother, one helpless soul
As it had the world in shroud.
As the child played all day,
The mother looked on in dismay!
