Enemy's downfall

By Keerthana Venkatesh

Contributing Author for Spark Igniting Minds

I was walking down the street,

with my beloved friend,

A gush of wind swept by,

and let go off our hand…

And there was born a desire,

to forgo all friendship,

Such from a fire,

fogging the relationship...

Greed and vanity induced,

by this wind of hatred

with our hearts charred,

we prayed to God instead!

He sent a breeze of love,

and a mist of Heaven,

O Enemy! you can’t survive,

in the realm of Heaven!
